Dr. Athar Malik

Dr. Athar Malik has been with the company since 1997. He previously worked as a research associate in the department of pathology at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Malik is a registered Polysomnographic technologist (RSPGT). He is responsible for training new technical and non-technical staff regarding sleep and its disorder, diagnostic technique and patient care according to their needs. Sleepcare Diagnostics conducts educational activities in the center for continuing medical education of the technical staff to maintain good quality of patient care and the studies. Since Dr. Malik's implementation of the education and training program, 21 of the Polysomnographic  technologist have successfully passed the Polysomnographic  test and are registered Polysomnographic technologists. Jason Smith -RPSGT

Jason started with Sleepcare Diagnostics as a sleep technician in September, 2001.He became credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) in 2003and is a member of the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists (APT). Jason has excelled quickly in the company previously holding the positions of Polysomnographic Technician, Scoring Technician, Lead Technologist, Lab Supervisor, and Center Manager. He has been the Director of Laboratory Services at Sleepcare Diagnostics since November 2003. Contact Jason at 513-459-7750.

Dr. Shahrokh Javaheri

Dr. Shahrokh Javaheri, is internationally recognized for his extensive research in sleep disorders and in the critical correlation of these disorders to cardiovascular disease and other medical conditions. He is board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Sanjiv Patel


Dr. Patel is currently the Medical Director of the Eastgate and Cheviot facilities and has been with Sleepcare Diagnositics since May 2004. He previously was in practice in Denver, Colorado. Born and raised here in Cincinnati, he attended undergrad, medical school, and did his residency in Akron, Ohio. He spent three years at the University of Kentucky doing a triple fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. His currently board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Internal Medicine. While in fellowship he did research and published papers regarding leg movement disorders of sleep. His training involved sleep disorder in both adult and pediatric populations, he see patients ages 6 and older in both the Mason and Eastgate facilities.

 

                                                                                                                 Ian McDonald -RPSGT

Ian began his career with Sleepcare Diagnostics in late 2002. He started as a Polysomnographic Technician and quickly progressed to the role of lead technician. In the winter of 2003 Ian passed his Board Exam and became a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. In early 2004 he was promoted to the role of Eastgate Center Manager. In 2007 he was promoted to his current position of Mason Clinical Coordinator. Ian is also a member of the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST). He has also helped with the establishment and development of the Mason, Eastgate and Cheviot facilities and has been instrumental in developing policies and procedures in the clinical division.

Daniel Seminatore -RPSGT

 

Daniel began his career in sleep medicine in 2005 as technician and has held the positions of lead technologist and chief technologist at our 20 bed mason facility. Daniel is currently the Clinical Coordinator for Sleepcare Diagnostics, Eastgate. He is credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Daniel is also a member in good standing with the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST). 

 

Jeff Dickman -RPSGT

Jeff Dickman has been with Sleepcare Diagnostics since 1996. Jeff has been utilized in many different areas during that span ranging from Supervisory Positions, Educational/Training, Public Awareness and Patient/Doctor Assistance. Jeff is a graduate from "THE" Ohio State University with a BA in Communication. Jeff is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). Jeff is also a member of the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST).

 

Nick Harris -RPSGT

Nick began his career as a sleep technician trainee with Sleepcare Diagnostics in August of 2000. In the summer of 2003 he successfully passed the BRPT board exam and has been a RPSGT in good standing since. He is also a member of the AAST. Currently Nick is the Clinical Coordinator at Sleepcare Diagnostics-West.

 

Craig Howard -RPSGT

Craig began his career with Sleepcare Diagnostics in the summer of 2004. In July of 2006 he became credentialed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT). In June of 2006, Craig recieved his B.A. from The Ohio State Universtiy in political science. He has worked at all of our operating locations and currently holds a Lead Technologist postion at the Mason facility. Craig is also a member in good standing with the American Association of Sleep Technologist (AAST).

Faith Cockrell -RPSGT

Faith began her career as a sleep technician trainee with Sleepcare Diagnostics in October of 2003. After being an integral member of our clinical staff, Faith sat for and passed her BRPT board exam in 2007. Faith has also since been promoted to the position of Registered Lead Technician for our Ohio based sleep centers and is also a member of the AAST.

 

Dan Martin -RPSGT

Dan began is career in sleep medicine in September 2002 as a Polysomnographic Technician and progressed to the role of lead technician. In the summer of 2005 Dan passed his Board Exam and became a Registered Polysomnograhic Technologist. Dan has served in the roles of Center Manager and Lead Technologist. Dan is also a member of the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST).
