Shahrokh Javaheri, MD

Dr. Shahrokh Javaheri, is internationally recognized for his extensive research in sleep disorders and in the critical correlation of these disorders to cardiovascular disease and other medical conditions. He is board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is Professor Emeritus of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sanjiv Patel, MD, FAASM, FCCP


Dr. Patel is currently the Medical Director of the Eastgate and Cheviot facilities and has been with Sleepcare Diagnositics since May 2004. He previously was in practice in Denver, Colorado. Born and raised here in Cincinnati, he attended undergrad, medical school, and did his residency in Akron, Ohio. He spent three years at the University of Kentucky doing a triple fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. His currently board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep, and Internal Medicine. While in fellowship he did research and published papers regarding leg movement disorders of sleep. His training involved sleep disorder in both adult and pediatric populations, he see patients ages 6 and older in both the Mason and Eastgate facilities.

 

Jeff Dickman -RPSGT, BA

 

Jeff Dickman has been with Sleepcare Diagnostics since 1996. Jeff has been utilized in many different areas during that span ranging from Supervisory Positions, Educational/Training, Public Awareness and Patient/Doctor Assistance. Jeff is a graduate from "THE" Ohio State University with a BA in Communication. Jeff is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).   

 

Dan Martin -RPSGT

Dan began is career in sleep medicine in September 2002 as a Polysomnographic Technician and progressed to the role of lead technician. In the summer of 2005 Dan passed his Board Exam and became a Registered Polysomnograhic Technologist. Dan has served in the roles of Center Manager and Lead Technologist. 

 

 

Casie Strunk -RPSGT

Casie began her career with Sleepcare Diagnostics in July of 2006. She started as a technician trainee and was involved with hands on hookup and set up of patients. She was a PAP class instructor. In 2008 she successfully obtained her RPSGT credential. Casie also was promoted to the role of Lead Research Technologist and oversees the nighttime technicians, helps writes the policies and procedures set forth, and conducts research studies. Casie currently works at the Mason location and has direct responsibility for the training of all of our technician trainees.

 

Joseph Howard -RPSGT, LMT

Joseph began his career with Sleepcare in March of 2003. He started as a technician trainee before progressing to the role of Lead Technician. Joseph obtained the RPSGT credential in 2004.
Joe displayed a strong talent for scoring Sleep sleep studies and started that role in 2005.

Joe became the scoring supervisor and has assisted in the training of numerous technicians/technologist as well as students attending this program. In 2010 Joe was promoted to Assistant Director of Clinical Operations as well as technical director of the ASTEP program.
